Some drawings of hands. Notice I have no shadows or shading done. That was done on purpose otherwise I would have used conte or some other medium to easily simulate that.

New drawings of costumed people hustling and bustling. Kind of like you've seen at the mall. Only smeller. Haha You can find these drawings and others in my Life drawings area located in the animation section of my web site.
It seems there's a lack of time to work on my projects as I always get sidetracked with something more essential. Fall and winter seem to always be that way. Of course its the shorter days and all those holidays .
I brought up my small goose lamp from downstairs to make my life a lot easer since lately I’ve been sketching a bit more in by bed room at night. It’s a bit more comfortable and less distracting that way. But for the rest of the stuff when it becomes time for me to paint my paintings will be done in the downstairs studio. Now to find the time.
Yep it’s been awhile since any thing new was shown. Fear not, 3 big projects are on the way. Just finished most of my research gathering references and viewing the references I already have. Started to draw a few doodles n sketches. More sketching is on the way. Its starting to take shape. In between things I’ll probably have a few little projects posted once I get the major sketching done for the big projects.
I originally drew the sketch on a scrap of paper while taking a break animating a cartoon one night. Thought I'd fix up my alien lizard in PhotoShop for the fun of it. The guy turned out really nice and pretty charming for an alien. The background is a bit mediocre but it does the job that it has to, with out over powering my character. I used a bit of the styles and filter functions in photo shop to make things go faster.
Alright! The final is here. After the help of some nice people to help me choose which one of my logo designs works the best, I ended up choosing this one.
I messed around with colours and finishing touches, I chose this. Tried red but it was too harsh, tried orange colours, but these colours seem to work the best. I avoided too may colour tests with the dino character since it would have looked too much like Barney. I stuck with the green. I later added a plastic effect that I kind of put together from the Styles function in Photoshop to make it look like a plastic sign.
I think it turned out great.
Hay, you guys helped me choose after all. You should be proud.
Just some updates to my site. New pic of a mega man game called Mega man8 in the Secret treasure vault.
Also in case you haven't visited or even bothered to visit yet, I have a newly updated name/sign. I think it looks spiffy.
Also this little thingy.
A new summer version of Summer tabby.
Can't wait for summer.
Yeah I know its a it early for some but for someone who hates cold weather and its only the beginning of it, always thinking of the lovely heat and any pictures of the tropics is a real nice distraction till spring and summer are back.
A little bit of a hint of what I'm up to as my next project. It was also designed at my former work place during break. As you can see I used the back of an old time sheet to quickly jot down my idea for a logo design. It couldn't have been paint fume induced this time since when your in that state your brain is pretty much mush. ;) LOL
The final fix a pic, hurrraaaaa! Apparently its a pic of my great aunt and uncle. I heard that she was a great jam and baked
goods maker. So that's where I get it. ;) They were also both grade 4 teachers. It's just to show that I have so much to learn about my family because I know so little of them. Meh, blame the ocean. :)
My latest illustration and another tropical themed one at that. A graceful looking cat catching its latest dinner in the form of bronze statue fountain. I’m not exactly sure why I chose to make the cat into a bronze statue but it seems to suit the scene well. Original drawing from my sketch book found here. Illustrated on textured paper. Painted with traditional watercolours, inks, some airbrushing, some coffee ink and clear coated with clear acrylic.
Another fixed pic of one of my cousins. At a later date, I might revisit the pic in the future to take the texture out of it, which was caused by
textured paper.
Another fixed pic of my mom when she was little. She's the one with no ribbons obviously. Oh and I'm down to two pics left to fix Yippy!
This times restored pic is of my mother when she was a kid. She looks a lot like me with out the glasses. In fact I still look the same if I pulled my hair back like that even at my
current age. Ha!
Another tropical themed artwork is in the works. I originally sketched it at work on a break. Possibly some of it was inspired by paint fumes aside the usual thoughts of inspiration. Finished with tracing it on textured paper and started with painting the background. I just hope the background works out cause so far I’m not quite see it. I am as usual using samples to help me visualize how it should look but it just doesn’t look as full so far. Probably because of all the distractions as always will not stop me because of that.
