There was Twitter Trouble.

Got my Twitter issues mostly resolved. But not totally. What happened next time this crap happens? They still after all never come up with or gave me notice of some alternative thing for those with landlines only. 
Apparently it was another technical glitch that gave me so much Twitter troubles. 
Go fig.

Dunking Dunked.

Just finished my newest and latest online portfolio. I need yet another mini port site since Dunked decided that we can all pay rich peoples money. So I had to dunk the Dunked. Oh well. Just as well this new place is way more flexible and more generous for my needs. At first the impressions I got from this site, snooty, pompous, for overly stuck up design artistes. But then I actually dove in and it wasn't so bad after all. Just to show you that you can't judge a book by its cover. So glad I didn't over look this place. Just hope it stays this way. What a great service for a basic account. Its generous with its space, and with a bit of tinkering very easy to use. One down side is that its a bit time consuming with the layout. Other then that this site is great.

So anyways yeah I needed a decent backup site to show things to people since my main site isn't always that reliable for it to be online. So hopefully this lasts quite awhile.

Changing direction.

Well I kind of changed my mine temporarily about finding a new web site after thinking about it. Instead I’m going to use this really nice online portfolio that I found at one of my favorite haunts for fellow artists.
Its really great because its quite generous with its space regarding how much content you can load in there regarding your works. Plus when you get the hang of using the stuff to customize your site, its easy to put together.  So for now going to use this as a mini backup web site for a more stable way of showing the people who are behind these potential job opportunities and not worrying about the darn site being down.
That unfortunately always seems to happen to me when I have stuff to show with my original site. Its embarrassing and frustrating.
So anyway, for a free portfolio site this mini site for me is really great and hopefully stable enough so that in the future, I don’t go though any more of this nonsense.  There’s also a premium part of the site of course but I really don’t need that.
So any one needing a really good and generous place for your portfolio check out dunked.com.

Ok so I forgot about this place but then can you blame me. Freelancing, clip-art making and other things is much more lucrative anyway.  But I’ll give it another shot. I added another graphic to my product line. Its basically based on my very successful clip-art set that’s been out in the market for sometime. I might add more when I have some time or when I’m bored or something which is quite rare but not too uncommon if I was to spend more time online. But adding more graphics is limited on a free subscription. Oh well. Still I wonder if interest is waning in regards to operating on such a place with the average Jill? I mean sure some people are obviously making some kind of income there but still I don’t see too many conversations happening in the forums. Maybe I should try Zazzler’s in the future or what ever its called.
Going to have to check them out.

Peek a boo!

In case you haven’t noticed I’m back and have been back for a week or two now. For awhile at least. Until I get another freelance project that is. And that may come soon enough since I have been offered another book to work on this coming season of fall or maybe sooner. Who knows? But that’s cool none the less.
The latest Sunshine The Lion Cat adventure should get published soon and I’ll link in here when it gets completed.
In the mean time I’ll be catching up on spring cleaning, clip art, some other art work , animation if I had some of the equipment, my web site( could use a new look) and possibly some special tee shirts for ads. And maybe some other things If I possibly get to them.
Last season I barely had any time to do any thing me wise since I had gotten a new kitty in my life and other things which made things get a bit crazy. Oh well, such is life.  ;)

Ugh....

Sigh.... Looks like my web-hoster for my web site has gone ca-poot.
The main web-hosting home page still works only the rest of the links have no signs of life.
Looks like I'll have to go host hunting again preferably something that works with Microsoft Front Page or a web page maker. Maybe I'll check on it again tomorrow but I'm really getting sick of this.

Anyways Happy New year again.

Dancing to life

Taking another dance step in my life I am happy to say I just got another gig. Yahoo!
Some nice bit of good news in my life instead of the usual bad and depressing news, I only hope that for now on I can keep the ball rolling.
No, It doesn't have any thing to do with dancing or balls but an illustration job. None the less I hope to astound or at least make the guy pleasantly satisfied with the project.
As always I'll do my best.

Mission accomplished

Successfully finished fixing those vectors. They only look slightly different since I had to make those compromises but they otherwise look just like the originals. Hopefully in the future I won’t have to worry about those things. Now back to business.

Doh!

Ugh, rats, I had to go back to square one on all those vectors I just finished. All because I forgot not, do something. Eps files do not like transparencies. So now I have to go back and waist my time and fix all my vectors I just worked on instead of making a few new illustrations I intended to.
One step forward, two steps back.

To find the time

It seems there's a lack of time to work on my projects as I always get sidetracked with something more essential. Fall and winter seem to always be that way. Of course its the shorter days and all those holidays .
I brought up my small goose lamp from downstairs to make my life a lot easer since lately I’ve been sketching a bit more in by bed room at night. It’s a bit more comfortable and less distracting that way. But for the rest of the stuff when it becomes time for me to paint my paintings will be done in the downstairs studio. Now to find the time.
